Guidomedia is owned and run by Guy Allen.

It has been set up to serve a few functions:

1. Act as a public publishing information and media analysis hub;

2. A live teaching resource;

3. A home page for various research interests.

The owner has been a full-time lecturer at the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University, and has a long publishing history with Syme Magazines, Ninemsn and the ACP/Trader Group. He also has a history with live radio, along with several years of experience as an internet publisher and consultant.
