AllWomenSport (AWS) is hopefully redressing a publishing wrong -- which is lack of media attention to given to women's sport. We attempt to treat the subject seriously, though that won't prevent us from having some fun from time to time.
AWS is always on the lookout for news, features and interviews. If you feel you can be of assistance, we'd be very interested in hearing from you. It presents an opportunity for media and journalism students to build up a published portfolio.
The publisher is Guy Allen, who has a long history with print and internet magazines. He ran the journalism program at La Trobe University from 2001 to 2005, and taught post-grad periodical publishing at the University of Melbourne from 2006 to 2008.
He currently works as web editorial director for a major commercial publisher.

This site was initially
built by students in the La Trobe University Media Studies and Journalism programs, and was also 'staffed' (to use the term very loosely) by post-graduate students in the Publishing and Communications program at the University of Melbourne.
