Bibliography style guide

This bibliography style guide is a basic version of Chicago. There are numerous styles in use and, if you are writing a paper or thesis, you should check with your editor or supervisor to establish whether there is a specific requirement for your project.

(Note regarding use of this style: The examples below are for bibliographies. The accepted adaptation for footnotes is to refer to the author by first then last name. For the first example below, you would change it to Valerie Raliegh Yow and then continue with the reference.)
